- The course is a nurture programme which supports learners to understand mindfulness and explore how living in the present moment can help raise their self-esteem. They will learn a range of mindfulness strategies to support them with the regulation of difficult emotions and will reflect on how they can maintain a positive mindset moving forwards.

- The course leader has over 20 years' experience in education (Teacher and SMHL), working primarily with vulnerable young people facing a range of barriers to learning. Combined with the skills she developed on her counselling diploma, she offers supportive and practical guidance to students and is passionate about supporting them to thrive and develop positive aspirations for their futures.
