- This comprehensive course is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in health and social care. It provides a solid foundation in key concepts, practices, and skills essential for success in the sector. This course can be accredited with the NCFE at Level 1 or Level 2 and is a nested qualification. This means the young person can start at Award and build via Certificate to Diploma to gain further qualifications and a deeper understanding of the topic.

• Understanding Human Growth and Development: Exploring the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development stages across the lifespan and their implications for care.
• Health and Social Care Values: Examining the core values that underpin effective care, such as dignity, respect, and confidentiality, and how to apply these in practice.
• Effective Communication Skills: Developing the ability to communicate effectively with service users, families, and colleagues in a variety of care settings.
• Promoting Healthy Living: Learning about the factors that influence health and wellbeing and strategies for promoting a healthy lifestyle within the community.
• Introduction to Health and Social Care Settings: Gaining insight into various roles within the health and social care sector and understanding the principles of effective teamwork and collaboration.
• Safeguarding and Protection: Understanding the importance of safeguarding vulnerable individuals, including recognizing signs of abuse and knowing how to respond appropriately.

Bright Outcomes Ltd offers a unique home-based alternative provision for young people who are unable to attend school or college due to EBSA, SEND, or mental health challenges.
Our focus is on academic progress, community inclusion, and employment readiness, all supported by qualified teachers and experienced mentors dedicated to ensuring each student's development.
Our goal is to act as a bridge back to education, not a permanent solution, helping students build the academic skills, confidence, and independence they need to return to school and thrive.
Our courses are delivered over a minimum of 10 hours per week for at least 12 weeks, meeting the guided learning hours required for NCFE qualifications. There is no limit on the number of 12-week blocks a student can complete. - Cost of Course
